Feeling as though,
She's been waiting,
For love,
But all in vain.
It seems the one
She trusted so dear
Had left
Her in the rain.
Tears sweep awayThe broken debris
That were once
Her hopes and dreams
Fear filling up
The pit of her stomach
Come storm clouds,
Threatening, dark.
Faith once strong,
But now so jaded
Colourful dreams,
That gradually faded.
Oh pray that light
Peeks through a cloud,
It's rays warm up her heart.
Pray that I
Could be that light,
To make a wrong a right.

Whats making me this way,
Whats pulling me away
From the sun into the dark
Recesses of my brain
Boiling in a pot,
A brew of hate so hot,
Bubbling and splutterin
It scalds me from within
Dont know how he came to be
This devil in my mind
Oh what could ever set me free
I feel Im going blind
Its carved on the bark of the tree of Eden
Written in bold on the walls of shame
Shackled and gagged the spirits of freedom
Am I the one to blame?
Dont leave me all alone
Im scared of what Id find
Reminisce the years before
Ive something left behind
And then the burning fades
Into a glowing ember
To cold lonely ashes
Disintegrate forever
A sad blue of the deepest hue
The reason for Ive not a clue
But one thing I know that is true

In the still of the night,
Under pale moonlight,
The barking dogs echoing
While angels take flight.
A new kind of fear
Has come to this town
Winds sweeping it near,
So its homeward bound
Sniff the chill in the air
There's a frightened boy there
Shivers run through his spine
But he's too scared for cryin
Mama please come to me now
The devil plants thoughts in me now
The moon it flickers in the sky
As thousands of blazing fires fly
A sickly feel
Miserably ill
A birthing pain
The boy is slain
Hopelessness swirls
Licking at my feet
And soon I drown
In a sea of it
Sneering sly but knowing no better
Pathetic attempt at chasing the hatter
Left lost in the smile of the cheshire
Fading footfalls of my pitter-patter
