Fuck this shit
Time and again I’ve been a fool,
Thinking that it would be different for you,
But now I realize that to "love" I should never succumb,
And now to me it’s a rule of thumb,
Cause it ain’t worth taking chances anymore,
Each time I get knocked down to the floor,
It doesn’t make me any stronger,
It only serves to make me wiser,
That which got too close to the sun only got burnt,
It was a lesson the hard way I learnt,
And now I try to stay away,
Because I gave it all to you like a fool,
If only I had known earlier,
Cause for everyone it’s all the same,
The whole thing is just a game,
Where lives are endless,
And you can start over again.
True happiness I find is in the things I do,
So I’m sticking to them,
No more chances with you….
